A single mother and her two school-age children are relocating to Castle Rock, Colorado from Virginia. She is seeking a before and after-school nanny to care for the children, a girl (12 years old) and a boy (10 years old). The boy has allergies to animals and has asthma. The girl also has some food allergies. The mother is open to a live-in or live-out nanny. The nanny will be needed to assist the children in getting ready for school, driving them to school, picking them up from school, driving them to and from activities, and making dinners. The typical schedule will be 7am to 9am and then 2:30pm to 6pm, M-F. She is seeking a nanny that can be flexible in terms of her schedule. She would prefer a nanny that is college educated or a nanny who is a current student. She also needs a nanny that is responsible and comfortable driving children to activities. The mother would also love it if the nanny is available to work one evening per week, or one weekend day per week. The nanny may also be needed to travel with the family on vacations. This position begins early August. The pay is negotiable, and is between $16 and $20/hour depending on experience, qualifications, and the right fit. The mother is open to providing a vehicle for the nanny to use during work hours, if needed, or to providing gas mileage reimbursement.
