F.T. Caregiver Needed for Wheel Chair Bound 70-Year-Old Woman in Ponyette/Portage Area, Wisconsin

A Man in the Poynette/Portage area is seeking a caregiver to assist in caring for his wife who is wheel chair bound. His wife is of a sound mind. She needs minor assistance; no lifting required, with transferring to and from the wheel chair. She also needs meal preparation. She does not require help with eating. She is able to bathe herself with attendant assistance. No special medical treatments, procedures, medications, equipment, or injections needed. The schedule is completely flexible, but will require some 24 hour shifts in order to provide some respite breaks for her husband who has been her caregiver. The husband would be away at work for most of the time while the caregiver is present. The position is live-out, but they would be open to live-in for the right candidate. The home has a “mother-in-law quarters,” so that the caregiver would have privacy and personal time and space. The quarters has a television and internet access. The pay is negotiable and in the range of $15-$18/hour depending on experience, qualifications, and the right fit. This position begins asap.
